Where To Stay In Wine Country

If you are reading this, we hope you have enjoyed dining with us at Trellis at some point whether you are local or were visiting our town. While you probably already know that we have some of the best food in town, are you familiar with where to stay when visiting Oregon Wine Country? There are plenty of options here in the Willamette Valley when it comes to lodging for a vacation, but there are a few standout places that we recommend as being a special experience. Here are our top picks for where to stay in Wine Country.

Dundee Hotel

The Dundee Hotel is in the heart of Dundee, making it one of the most central places to stay in Oregon Wine Country. Right off of 99W it’s a stone’s throw away from Trellis (which scores big points for us!) and offers a perfectly accessible spot to visit wineries, the coast, and even a day trip to Portland. This hotel has both rooms and suites to accommodate all sorts of party sizes. And, being in the 99W strip, you will find yourself within walking distance to a variety of tasting rooms and shops.

The Atticus Hotel

While located a bit further away in McMinnville, the Atticus Hotel offers a unique vibe. Located in charming McMinnville, this hotel is an ideal retreat if you plan to spend your days’ wine tasting throughout the Willamette Valley. Staying at the Atticus offers dozens of wine tasting options within a few blocks of the property, making it a perfect option for a group that wants to sample many of the delicious wines that are grown right here in Oregon. If you are driving from the Portland metro area, Trellis is right on the way to stop for a meal before or after your stay at this hotel.

The Allison Inn and Spa

The Allison Inn and Spa is perhaps the most well-known luxury hotel in the Willamette Valley. This hotel is truly a retreat, with a full spa, indoor pool, and beautiful grounds on site. For a special place to call home after you’ve explored our gorgeous towns, the Allison is definitely an excellent choice. What we love about this hotel is that you can truly escape from it all here. It’s also in the ideal spot for exploring all of Oregon Wine Country.

Airbnbs

Perhaps our favorite option is finding an Airbnb that suits your needs perfectly as a way to fully embrace what our area has to offer. Finding a private home in Wine Country will surely be an experience that you won’t forget. With unique options, you can find everything from a home in Downtown Newberg to a private residence on a vineyard. Spend your vacation feeling like a local and enjoy all that Oregon has to offer. And, of course, don’t forget to stop by Trellis for a meal with your group!

No matter where you stay, there are endless amounts of things to do and see in Oregon Wine Country. Please remember to come to stop in for a bite to eat or enjoy a drink during your next trip here!
