Get Cheesy for a Cause: The Melt Down at Trellis!
Indulge in Poutine for a Purpose:
February is here, and that means it’s time for one of our favorite community traditions—The Melt Down! Every year, we love getting creative in the kitchen while giving back to those in need. This time, we’re putting a bold, cheesy twist on the challenge with our Braised Short Rib Poutine—a mouthwatering mix of crispy house fries, red wine-braised short ribs, Tillamook cheese curds, Pinot Noir onions, and jalapeño aioli. It’s rich, indulgent, and best of all, it’s for a great cause!
Dine, Vote & Make a Difference:
From February 1st-28th, stop by Trellis to try our poutine and be part of the fun. Every purchase earns you a stamp on your Melt Down Sandwich Guide and a chance to cast your vote for the best dish! Plus, $2 from every poutine sold goes directly to the YCAP Food Bank, helping provide food security to our local community. It’s a delicious way to make a real impact!
More Ways to Participate:
Not in the mood for a cheesy dish but still want to help? You can support The Melt Down by purchasing limited-edition t-shirts and sweatshirts or making a direct donation—no sandwich required! The Sandwich Guide, available at all participating businesses, will help you track your stops and discover new favorites along the way.
Win Big with Weekly Hashtag Giveaways:
Throughout the month, there will be 7 weekly giveaway prizes featuring gifts from local Oregon businesses. To enter, just share your cheesiest, most delicious photos on Facebook with #TMD2025 and #Trellis (don’t forget to tag us too!). Each week, winners will be chosen at random—so snap, share, and enjoy!
Let’s Eat, Support & Celebrate Together:
The Melt Down isn’t just about food—it’s about coming together as a community, supporting local restaurants, and making a difference. Whether you’re dining in, ordering takeout, or getting some fun merchandise, every little bit helps. So, gather your foodie friends, grab a fork, and let’s make this the cheesiest, most heartwarming February yet!
